These steam bent, 3 ply open-back banjo rims are made with 100% native hardwoods in Asheville NC. These are the best open-back banjo rims on the market today. Our smooth rims are turned and ready out of the box for rim caps and rolled brass tone rings. You can turn our rough rims as thin as 1/2″ or as thick as 5/8″. Each rim is glued together with tight bond using a special 20 ton clamping press designed and built specifically for Balsam Banjoworks. Guaranteed to have no gaps between plies, these rims are the highest quality and best priced banjo rims on the market today. Order our 3/4″ rim bolts to fit our smooth rims to be used with JB Schall ball style bracket shoes or 7/8″ bolts for our Double Pointed bracket shoes.
