Tube-a-phone

Many hours of research and development have gone into reproducing this popular turn of the century tone ring. An original Tube-a-phone assembly was carefully inspected for material thickness, measurements, and construction methods in order to make our reproduction a very close match. The Tube-a-phone assembly features a hollow 1/2″ square tube with holes drilled on the inside which gives the ring a vibrant, rich and distinct tone to the banjo. These were developed at the height of banjo innovation around 1909 and have been a popular tone ring choice for banjo players and builders ever since.
